Before & After: Handball Courts
On October 22nd, Casey Wasserman and the Wasserman Foundation hosted ‘Wasserman Serve Day’ for nearly 100 Wasserman volunteers at 99th Street Elementary School in Watts. Wasserman volunteers spent the day painting bright colored flowers around the school’s campus, which included the cafeteria and two handball courts. Los Angeles was one of six cities that participated in Wasserman Serve Day. Volunteers in Miami, New York, Raleigh and Washington, DC also helped transform a school, while Toronto volunteers helped build a house with Habitat for Humanity.
